During our second trip to Virgin Cove last week, I asked the owners about updates since the tsunami. After the devastating tsunami last year, owners Thomas and Gine took over the management of Virgin Cove. It has been hard work and with limited resources but they have done their best to make the resort better.

Have to echo the comment from Newcastle, we've just returned to Canada from 2 weeks in Samoa and can't wait to go back. The resorts, the people, the sun! Would highly recommend Virgin Cove - we stayed in the secluded fales.
A friend and I are heading over to Samoa end of this month. Just wondering whether anyone has stayed at both of these places and can provide guidance as to which was best in terms of swimming, hospitality, single travellers etc. Hi - have stayed at both places actually Litia Sininext to Taufua to be exact.
Anyone have any opinions on the best fales to book at Virgin Cove? It is just my husband and I. Thanks for your advice!

April 27, by xplorer 0 Comments. Virgin Cove Resort is hidden away in the most beautiful natural beach area just behind the deep forest of Saanapu village on the south coast of Upolu island. If you are wanting to relax and get in tune with yourself and slow down the pace and live close to nature in an area with the most fantastic white sand, where the beach meets the green dense forest, then Virgin Cove is the perfect place for you.
Once we got back over the mountains and to the south coast, we turned and headed west, picking up where we had left off. Our first stop was a place called the Virgin Cove Resort. It was a long drive down an unpaved road to a village where we had to pay 5 tala to continue on another long, unpaved road to the resort.
